Rainbow spots on Sharp 56 inch rear dlp projection?
I have a 2 year old Sharp 56 inch rear dlp projection. I have had no problem with this tv so far until now. Whenever there is a bright striped shirt on the tv I get a little spot that looks like a rainbow. It is there for a few seconds then goes away. It is sporadic and not constant. Any suggestion on what this might be or what I need fixed?
It probably has something to do with the "color wheel". This is just one of the several weak spots known to exist in DLP projection sets. Contact Sharp and see if there's a fix. As far as I know, all DLP sets have this problem and there's no solution.
