second paragraph!!! advice?
okay im writing a novel.. here is my second paragraph! what do you think?? do you like it? advice or opinion! please and thank you!!!:)
She took one look at her purple and brown suit case lying wide open on the floor, empty. A great big sigh of sadness and displeasure left her lips. She couldn’t wait any longer, she had to pack, no matter how much she didn’t want to. She took another look at the clock and quickly started grabbing everything that would reach her finger tips. She emptied her dresser of clothes and tossed them into her bag, along with her book collection. She sat on it for a while before she heard it click shut. Grabbing her suit case, and sitting down in the tiny old chair for the last time. She looked down and scowled, as she saw a brute looking balding man stride across their lawn, up the stairs and towards the front door where he jabbed the door bell with his fat finger.
Its actually really good! It makes me want to read more, its very intriguing. The only thing that i would change is in the 4th sentence, "Grabbing everything that would reach her fingertips" I would change to, everything her fingertips could reach.
But its fantastic start, keep going
