What does this Design question mean?
"Design a stained glass window for the entrance hall of a transport terminal. Use a vertical format, to the proportion 2:1"
i think it is saying that the window you need to design should be vertical and should be 2x higher than it is wide. For example, if it is 2 feet high, it would be 1 foot wide.
