A Book of Tale and Olden Lore
Shadows casting on the floor
Of droplets rolling more and more
Down the pane of glass before
A book of tale and olden lore
The door ajar in silence sound
Creaks on hinges of rusty loud
From the breeze blowing around
The door whips open with a pound
BANG the door and thunder release their rage
The book snaps open flipping page to page
The bombard of rain and rolling wind wage
War on scales no one can gage
Lightning sizzles crackles and CRASH
Shattering the glass in a blinding flash
The book of lore is rendered ash
BOOM the door shuts with a thundering bash
It's a very lovely poem, and a very creative description of a simple event, eloquently phrased!
