Does anyone know a good way to cut a right angle?
I'm framing some work of mine for the first time, I was wondering the best way to cut a right angle. I don't have a table saw, just a really good hand held and a dremil to make the groves with to hold the glass and art in place. I'm just worried about cutting the right angle. Help!
If you have a protractor or a 45 degree plastic triangle, you could mark the wood that way, but the cheapest most reliable way would be to go to the hardware store and get a miter box. This lets you set a piece of wood into it and make the desired angle cut using two giudes that the handsaw blade sits into.
I am assuming you want to build a picture frame. Cut two pieces at 45 degrees. Fit them together with glue or brads.
