What should I do with this bathroom?
I just moved into a new condo. Had no trouble decorating the hall bathroom, but the master bath is a little...weird. It has a white, marble counter; chrome fixtures; an art deco/hotel styled, rectangular, arc, baby green light above a very large wall mounted mirror; and the floor is a dark brown, wood floor. I have no idea what to do with this color scheme. I do have a lot of counter space in there so I could -perhaps- put a nice vase or glass decoration there.
If the Art Deco mirror is framed & can be taken down perhaps the frame could be repainted.
To remove a wall-mounted mirror is a nightmare. Is it glued onto the wall? If so, you'll need a pro to break the mirror for removal, then the wall will need re-patching and repainting. (Don't try to do this yourself.
For the floor? I would suggest a scatter rug in white. (something washable).
Light fixtures are easily replaced if you find one you like better than the one that came with the place.
Yes, a small, simple bouquet of flowers would create something to draw the eye away from the boo-boos you don't care for.
